  • Fèis Rois - runs a series of annual Fèisean (Gaelic arts tuition festivals focusing on music and dance), including an adult Fèis in Ullapool each May.
  • Dannsa - Scottish step dance ensemble formed to celebrate the rich culture and infectious energy of traditional Scottish dance. Organises the annual Strathspé Away dance festival in Kingussie each November.
  • John Sikorski - Scottish step dancer whose experiments with rhythm have had a big influence on my own.
  • Donal Brown - another amazing Scottish step dancer and member of the band Breabach.
  • Scottish Traditions of Dance Trust - exists to promote and encourage participation and enjoyment in all forms of Scottish traditional dance.
  • Creative Heritage - Scottish dancer Pat Ballantyne specialises in step dance workshops and classes for all ages, based in Aberdeen.
  • Step Dance Scotland - a Google Group devoted to Scottish step dance events and news.
  • Jill Dreaddy DanceCo - dance studio in St. John's, where I take French Canadian step dance lessons with Gillian Fisher.

Music
